The Greater Hansville Area Advisory Council (GHAAC)

Background: Formally established in 2007, the Greater Hansville Area Advisory Council (GHAAC) is a communication forum and serves as a direct advisory link to Kitsap County government. GHAAC has been involved in projects aimed at preserving the unique quality of life in the Greater Hansville Area. Major neighborhoods and community groups in the Greater Hansville Area are represented through participation in GHAAC meetings.

Mission of  GHAAC: To communicate with and represent the interests of the Greater Hansville Area (GHA) with Kitsap County, other government entities, non-government organizations, and individuals inorder to prioritize, organize and facilitate enactment of GHA mandated goals in accordance with the GHA community’s values.

Meetings: GHAAC meets bi-monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM at the Community Center.  The public is welcome at all meetings.
